About the Revolving Loan Fund (RLF)
The RLF provides financing for eligible projects by local businesses and municipalities. Eligibility is determined by standards from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Eligible projects must meet one of these criteria:
- Benefit low- to moderate-income people (usually by creating jobs)
- Help prevent or eliminate slum or blight
- Address urgent community needs
The fund replenishes itself through loan repayments, allowing for new loans. The program is managed with Market One. For questions about the RLF, contact Katie Vanderhulst at vanderhulstk@marketone.org or call 269-873-2378.
