Transfer Station
Welcome to the Joint Transfer Station for Geneva Township and South Haven Township, operated by Best Way Disposal. You’ll find us on CR 384, just 1 mile east of Maple Grove/M-43 or 1 mile west of the 68th Street/CR 384 intersection.
Hours
- Open Saturdays: 8 AM to 2 PM
- Summer Hours (April – October): Tuesdays 8 AM to 2 PM
- Closed on holiday weekends, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s
Transfer Station Pass
Residents of Geneva and South Haven Townships need a Transfer Station Pass for free dumping and recycling. Others will be charged.
2020 Dump Passes are included in your December 2020 Tax Bill. If you don’t receive a tax bill, please call 269-427-7607 for a Geneva Dump Pass or 269-637-3305 for a South Haven Dump Pass.
Waste & Recycling
We accept normal household waste only. Contractors cannot dispose of materials here.
Recycling is free with a Geneva/South Haven dump pass. Others will be charged. You can also drop off brush and grass clippings at no cost.
Fees
The townships subsidize the operation. Residents pay 25% of the cost, and the townships cover 75%. There is a charge for using the facility.
