Bangor Township Transfer Station & Recycling

Welcome, Bangor Township residents! Our Transfer Station is here for your convenience. Please remember to bring your resident verification card to access this service. Note: This facility is for residents only, not for commercial use.

Important: Only Bangor Township residents can use this service. City of Bangor residents are not eligible, as it is funded by Township taxpayers.

Location & Hours

  • Address: 41559 63rd St, Bangor, MI
  • Winter Hours (October – April): Open 1st & 3rd Saturdays, 9 AM – 2 PM
  • Summer Hours (May – September): Open every Saturday, 9 AM – 2 PM

Fees & Permits

  • Dump Permit: Required, available on-site for $15 (check or money order only)
  • Recycling: Drop-off bins are free of charge

Accepted Items

  • Small quantities of scrap metal (no appliances)
  • Tires: All sizes accepted for free

Items Not Accepted

  • Brush, limbs, grass clippings, leaves
  • Building materials, fencing

Special Events

Join us for Free Dump Days, usually held on the first Saturday of May and October.
