Narrative:
Sheriff Daniel E Abbott reports that Deputies were dispatched to Vankal and CR 375 for a car vs motorcycle minor injury crash. Deputies arrived and found the motorcycle in the intersection. It was determined that Driver 1 in the Subaru was traveling South on Vankal St, Driver 2 on the Honda was traveling EB on CR375. Driver 1 did not see the oncoming motorcycle and pulled into the intersection. Driver 2 saw the Subaru come into the intersection and laid his motorcycle down on its side. The bike slide into the vehicle but Driver 2 did not. Driver 2 was treated for injuries related to “road rash” and refused transport to the hospital. Driver 1 was cited for his actions causing the crash.
