Narrative:
Sheriff Daniel E Abbott reports that Deputies were dispatched to CR 657 and 60th Ave for a 2-car minor Injury Accident. Deputies arrived and found the intersection blocked by the vehicle involved. CR 657 was shut down for a short period of time while the investigation and clean-up took place. Deputies determined that Vehicle 1 was traveling North on CR 657 when Vehicle 2 entered the intersection. Deputies learned that Driver 2 stated they stopped at the stop sign, but then entered the intersection into the path of on coming Vehicle 1. Driver 1 did not complain of injury, Driver 2 complained of leg pain and was checked on scene and refused medical treatment. Driver 2 was cited for Failure to Yield.
