Narrative:
Sheriff Daniel E Abbott Reports that Deputies assisted the Paw Paw Fire Department with a structure fire in the 39k Block of Whiskey Run Road in Almena Township. Deputies arrived and found that a travel trailer/camper was being lived in on this property. The camper was parked behind a pole barn. The fire was reported at 5:55am. The source of the fire is unknown currently and being investigaed. The property owner called 911 to report the fire. The 2 occupants of the camper left the scene and were found by deputies several miles away driving. They were interviewed and turned over to Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office for unrelated charges. This complaint remains open and under investigation.
