The Public Transit Local Advisory Council is comprised of seven (7) members that are appointed by the Van Buren County Board of Commissioners and each serve a term of four (4) years. This Council's task is to make decisions regarding the Van Buren County Public Transit.

The meetings are open to the public and members of the public will have a reasonable opportunity to address the council. However, the council may close a portion of the meeting to the public for one of the reasons set forth in the Michigan Open Meetings Act.
The Local Advisory Council has been appointed by the Van Buren County Board of Commissioners. The public is always welcome to comment on public transportation matters in person, in writing, by phone, or by any other means.
